• encourages and supports parents as their child’s first and most important teacher,
• teaches parents new parenting skills,
• emphasizes learning through family literacy and play,
• provides opportunities for parents to focus on positive parenting through conversations with other parents,
• offers a means for families to meet others and build upon their community and capacity.

This free drop-in program is open to all families and their children aged birth to 6 years. Programs start in September and run weekly until the end of June.

The format of the program is as follows: First hour – free play, songs and story, craft and snack. Second hour – childcare for the children and adult time for coffee and conversation.
